Freedom from Sin and receiving Healing.

Freedom from Sin and receiving Healing…

YHWH laid it on my heart this morning something to share something that has been swirling around my head for the past 2 weeks.

James 5:16 (ESV)
16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

This scripture has been bubbling in me for some time. I often share it during Facebook dialogues but I wonder: Do people truly understand it? and are they truly willing and desirous to be free from sin.

I Know I am. And I know I have experienced sin free periods in my life. But like a lot of excuse ridden people, when I err I have found myself at times unwilling to admit that I have erred from the path but rather I played the church façade and fake like everything is alright… Making me no better than a pharisee:

Matthew 23:25–28 (ESV)
25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26 You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean.
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

I know many of us have been, and are guilty of this very thing. Which brings me back to the foundation scripture – “Therefore, confess your sins to one another …“

Over the years I realize this is a VERY difficult thing to do. Admit ones failures to another. We hold inside our sins and transgressions because we are fearful of he judgment that will come from those whom we would share with. We are fearful of “Our Image” being marred in their eyesight, no matter how much they promise us that will not be the case.

And in a lot of instances, we have made contracts with Satan for so many years that when YHWH comes to us to be purified, we are more afraid of what Satan will take from us, or how he will seek to destroy us rather than being willing to submit our will to YHWH and receive forgiveness and the “just retribution” we are due…

Hebrews 2:1–3 (ESV)

2 Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. 2 For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Master, and it was attested to us by those who heard,

Galatians 6:7 (RNESV)

7 Do not be deceived: YHWH is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

We are more fearful of Satan than we are of YHWH so we devolve deeper into sin, keeping our mouths shut, when our healing is just a few spoken words away.

We choose to serve Satan rather than YHWH…

Joshua 24:14–15 (RNESV)

14 “Now therefore fear YHWH and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the elohim that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve YHWH. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve YHWH, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the elohim your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the elohim of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve YHWH.”

I, my friends, have been guilty of this very thing over the years, and it is time to share what YHWH has taught me with regards to being free from sin.

First, lets just be honest. Sin is a CHOICE. Everyday, all day, we are faced with situations which require us to make a choice of which way we will proceed. We can choose the path of righteousness or we can choose the path of sin. But in the end, it is our choice.

Let me back up… Let me first define sin:

There are two primary greek words used for sin in scripture:

??????? [hamartia /ham·ar·tee·ah/] – 1a to be without a share in. 1b to miss the mark. 1c to err, be mistaken. 1d to miss or wander from the path of uprightness and honour, to do or go wrong. 1e to wander from the law of God, violate God’s law, sin. 2 that which is done wrong, sin, an offence, a violation of the divine law in thought or in act.

And

???????? [hamartano /ham·ar·tan·o/] – 1 to be without a share in. 2 to miss the mark. 3 to err, be mistaken. 4 to miss or wander from the path of uprightness and honour, to do or go wrong. 5 to wander from the law of God, violate God’s law, sin.

Sin, plain and simple is to miss the mark or to violate YHWH’s law (which differs from the Mosaic Law)

In Hebrew you also have 1 Major word for Sin:

chata? /khaw·taw

1 to sin, miss, miss the way, go wrong, incur guilt, forfeit, purify from uncleanness. 1a (Qal). 1a1 to miss. 1a2 to sin, miss the goal or path of right and duty. 1a3 to incur guilt, incur penalty by sin, forfeit. 1b (Piel). 1b1 to bear loss. 1b2 to make a sin-offering. 1b3 to purify from sin. 1b4 to purify from uncleanness. 1c (Hiphil). 1c1 to miss the mark. 1c2 to induce to sin, cause to sin. 1c3 to bring into guilt or condemnation or punishment. 1d (Hithpael). 1d1 to miss oneself, lose oneself, wander from the way. 1d2 to purify oneself from uncleanness.

Now that we are clear on what sin is lets turn our attention to the A part of James 5:16

Confess your sins one to another….

Why is this so important? After all, if we confess our sins to YHWH, isnt that enough???

I mean 1 John 1:9 says:

1 John 1:9 (ESV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

But wait. READ VERSE 10:

1 John 1:10 (ESV)
10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

What?!?!?!? Keeping your MOUTH SHUT is the same as saying “I HAVE NO SIN.”

Lets look at this scripture:

Hebrews 13:17 (KJV)
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Hebrews 13:17 (ESV)
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

This is an OFTEN CONFUSED verse that requires some basic word study to clear up some CHURCH confusion.

Obey: In proper context means – 2 be persuaded. 2a to be persuaded, to suffer one’s self to be persuaded; to be induced to believe: to have faith: in a thing. 2a1 to believe. 2a2 to be persuaded of a thing concerning a person. 2b to listen to, obey, yield to, comply with. 3 to trust, have confidence, be confident.

One such example of the proper use and understanding of this word is found here:

Acts 27:21 21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.

“that have the rule over” or “Leaders” – ???????c; ????????, ?? f: to rule over, with the implication of providing direction and leadership—

“submit yourselves” – 1 to resist no longer, but to give way, yield

One such example of the proper use and understanding of this word is found here:

2 Corinthians 9:13 (RNKJV)
13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify YHWH for your professed subjection unto the good news of Messiah, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;

From a basic study of the greek words in that passage, we don’t find the writer speaking of Clergy-Laity Lordship, instead we find the writer entreating us to be willing to yield to those who have gone the way before us. Who have circumnavigated the currents and waves and found the path to freedom.

With all of this, I can hear you asking… “Whats your point.”

Starting with those who have been there and done that. Who failed miserably, but when truth came were able to stand upright and circumspectly before YHWH, the ones classified as “Leaders” or “that have the rule over” (And I use those terms loosely.) They should be the first to confess their sins to one another. Where they have erred. For without that confession how are those new in faith or even those in the body who are failing (missing the mark) to be made whole???

That’s first and foremost.

Secondly, it is your responsibility to each other as members of the body of messiah.

Example:

Husband and wife relationship.

Wife goes out and sleeps around and comes home keeping her mouth shut.

That’s a rough one for many. Most would say, “Girl don’t say a word” But I ask, how is she to become free if she is not accountable to the Husband YHWH gave her???

The Master expressly said:

Matthew 19:6 (KJV)
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore YHWH hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

I can hear the cry.. Yeah, but the master also said:

Matthew 19:9 (KJV)
9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

SO lets do some more study, what is fornication???

1 illicit sexual intercourse. 1a adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, intercourse with animals etc. 1b sexual intercourse with close relatives;

And what is adultery:

1 to have unlawful intercourse with another’s wife

Now wait. If Adultery is having unlawful intercourse with another mans wife, is there a such thing as LAWFUL intercourse with another mans wife???

I’ll let you ponder on that….

Back to my point:

If the goal of a Union YHWH put together is permanence and one sins in this union, how can restoration come, how can trust be rebuilt, EXCEPT that (in this instance) the wife comes clean and confesses her sin to her husband.

If he is a true man of YHWH, having love for his wife, he will heed the words of the master “let not man put asunder.” And just as YHWH restored YisreYah when she turned her back on him and went whoring after elohim and confessed her sins, so should the husband restore his bride after she has confessed her indiscretions.
Now I can hear the cry of the abused and the wounded. “How can I do that when they have repeatedly defiled me with these acts???”

The goal of confession is Healing.

Read more of James 5:16

James 5:16 (ESV)
16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

Sin is not only a choice, it is a dis-ease. Or I could say it is a choice to be SICK. A Choice to choose Death over Life and Hell over Eternal Life… No one is at peace when they are knee deep in sin. But if they are beholden to their Satanic Contracts or their own personal Lust, they will try and justify their sin.. or as the scripture says:

Romans 1:24 (RNESV)
24 Therefore YHWH gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,

But they can turn from this state of misery, decadence and depravity if they would but confess their sins One to another.

Back to my illustration:

The object of the confession spoken of in James is ACCOUNTABILITY.

If we have no ACCOUNTABILITY and are left to our own wicked machinations, we will find Hell and the Lake a permanent residence.

For any true believer freedom from the bondage/devices/cares of this world is our goal. Sin mars that goal and weighs us down, tying us to this world..

Hebrews 12:1 (ESV)

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

In my illustration, If she makes herself accountable to her mate, the likelihood of her repeating this sin is greatly reduced. What person in their right mind will come to their mate and tell them, “I am going out to cheat on you.” LOL. Yet if they bare all and tell their mate what is swirling around in their heart/mind (become accountable) they can receive help.

Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

“What help?” you say, could one receive. Prayer, for one, as James tells us. Prayer that leads to the person being healed. After all, a chronic cheater is a DIS-EASED person tormented by sin.

Accountability leads to communication/confession. Which, for members of the body, leads to sharing the word of YHWH with one another bringing about healing for that dis-eased person.

Such as:

Romans 12:1–2 (RNESV)
1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of YHWH, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to YHWH, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of YHWH, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Marital relationships are but one example, however the body of Messiah (The Ekklesia) is to be submitted to each other.

Ephesians 5:15 (KJV)
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Ephesians 5:21 (RNKJV)
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of YHWH.

1 Peter 5:5 (KJV)
5 Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves to the elder. Yes, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for YHWH resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.

How can one who sees their brother overtaken in sin say nothing. They cannot be restored if your mouth is closed, how much more the person committing the sins, if they remain silent, what salvation will they receive???

Galatians 6:1 (KJV)
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

A WORD OF WISDOM:

Lastly, who CAN you confess to? “So many say they are my brothers and sisters,” but are they?

Should I run to a priest or the PASTUH??? HEAVEN FORBID!!!! OF course you can see how they distorted this scripture to push their Pagan Priest/Pastor/Ruler practice…..

This is really an easy one… If you are the one suffering in sin and longing to be free, these 2 passages, IF FOLLOWED TO THE LETTER will show you with whom you can confess to, pray with and be healed.
You must Identify (Judge) who is truly your brother and sister. AND MY FRIEND THIS TAKES TIME. Unless the Holy Spirit (Ruach Qadesh) expressly tells you… “THIS ONE,” this will take time to discover as there are many counterfeits in the world today.

Passage 1:

Matthew 12:47–50 (KJV)
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

The Master clearly identified that those who are of HIS FAMILY are those who DO YHWH’s will. IF the person you are watching is forging his own path, supplanting scripture with his own ways and disobeying YHWH, THAT ONE IS NOT YOUR FAMILY AND NOT ONE WITH WHOM YOU CONFESS TO… No matter how spiritual they may present themselves.

You Must want to be free from sin and be willing to compare what they say with scripture. If it deviates, they are not your family.

1 John 3:7 (KJV)
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1 John 4:1 (KJV)
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of YHWH: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

YOU HAVE TO JUDGE THEIR FRUIT!!!!!

Passage 2:

Matthew 7:20 (KJV)
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

In closing:

If you open your mouth and confess your sins, you WILL BE restored.

Though it is written, Many miss it:

1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Seek out those whom are willing to confess their sins and are willing to share with you how they were able to escape from sin. If you follow that example, you will remain free and avoid many pitfalls.

FOLLOW ONLY THOSE WHOM FOLLOW THE MESSIAH..

Word of wisdom. If they tell you something is written and you can’t find it in the bible. RUN!!!!! Trust me, THEY SEEK TO DESTROY YOU….

Your vision being clear with regard to your relationships can impair the opportunity of those whose desire is to use you to further their personal agenda’s.

Relationships wear all types of disguises: some are called mama disguises, father disguises, there are even friend disguises. Snatching these disguises from in front of faces of those you entertain gives you the real story behind your relationship with them and its value.

Like toto in the Wizard of Oz pulling the curtain that revealed the fallacy of the “Great Oz” So Mama’s Mess exposing the hidden danger of deadly relationships.

This book is for all of those that understand the pain of dead-lation-ships. This book is for those who seek answers for how to get out of those ships and into the cruise liners of life that float up the island coasts of peace and happiness despite Mama’s Mess.

Here are just a few reviews of my first book:

I finished your book at the airport yesterday and just broke down crying. Only God could have given you the strength to be able to write such a powerful book! – Ms. Edora (Washington, DC)

This book is informative on so many levels: 1) All the while I was reading Mama’s Mess, I just wanted to love my son more. I was constantly conscious of my mothering him, making sure he is all right. (calling him to my side for hugs and to tell him I love him); 2) Your openness and honesty sets the example for those of us who feel the need to hide mama’s mess to help keep up her perfect image;3) Gives us courage to once and for all take a stand, if for no other reason, the sake of the childern; – Ginger (Philadelphia, PA)

Thank you for sharing your story with me. Writing Mama’s Mess to courage and perseverance. You are a gifted individual, and you express yourself well. The book is Disturbing, Provocative, and Challenging.

I appreciate your handling of the word and sharing the insight God gave you. Your story challenges me to examine myself, to assess where I stand as a man.- C. Gist- (St. Louis, MO)

Laugh Now, Cry Later..

April 19th, 2010

Those who laugh now: in their arrogance and err, will soon mourn when THE TRUTH (which has been given them: which they’ve rejected) is NO LONGER UP FOR THEIR PERSONAL INTERPRETATION, and UNDERSTANDING.-©2010 Kristal Kleer Publishing

I find it interesting the arrogance of wicked, religious people. They don’t know anything for themselves due to their lack of study, but accept the words of others.

This kind will fight you tooth and nail that their position is right, though it is merely a repeat of another man’s position and not theirs at all.

It matters not how many verses of scripture you give them in reference to the subject: they are blind and can’t see.

The scripture declares that they see and don’t see, they hear and don’t hear. If they would but open their eyes, which they have closed and stop listening to the Loud CLAMORING lies of the religious liars (those pied pipers of another message), which like blaring music in their ears; has dulled their hearing. If they would do these things then they’d be converted and made free.

But they will hold to their vanity and laugh and mock those who share truth with them, just as those in the days of NOAH, but remember: ONLY 8 people were saved…
